Legal Officer (Full-time, On-site)

About the role

The Legal Officer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Cavite, supporting the Philippine Football Federation’s operations. The role provides legal advice, drafts and manages contracts, ensures regulatory compliance, and assists with risk‑management initiatives across the federation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and manage contracts and agreements for players, staff, partners and vendors.
• Advise on compliance with federation bylaws, sporting regulations and relevant Philippine laws.
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal opinions and assist in dispute resolution.
• Coordinate with external counsel when specialized expertise is required.
• Collaborate with internal departments to develop policies, governance initiatives and document decisions and procedures.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor or equivalent law degree; eligibility to practice law in the Philippines is highly beneficial.
• Strong foundational knowledge in law and business law.
• Experience in legal consulting and providing practical advice to organizational stakeholders.
• Excellent legal research, analysis and drafting abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Attention to detail, integrity and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
• Experience in sports law, corporate governance or non‑profit organizations is an advantage.
