Legal Officer (Corporate & Compliance)

About the role

The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) is seeking a proactive Legal Officer to support its corporate and compliance functions. You will provide legal advice, ensure regulatory compliance, and safeguard the organization’s interests across all operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and opinions to PFF officials.
• Monitor dispute‑resolution processes and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Conduct legal research and respond promptly to issues and concerns.
• Review, draft, and manage contracts, memoranda, office orders, and other corporate documents.
• Ensure all transactions, policies, and procedures are legally binding and enforceable.
• Maintain and secure the integrity of legal documentation.
• Develop, improve, and uphold company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Act as the primary liaison with government agencies, external counsel, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide compliance guidance on football‑related regulations, including FIFA and APC requirements.
• Travel as needed, including outside Metro Manila or the Philippines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Business Studies, Administration, Legal Management, Secretarial, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience; paralegal experience is a plus.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Willingness to be assigned to the Pasig area and later relocate to Carmona, Cavite.
