Legal Manager

About the role

J&T Express Philippines is seeking a full‑time Legal Manager to lead its legal operations in Cagayan de Oro City. The role involves overseeing compliance, managing legal affairs, and providing strategic legal advice to support the company’s growth and operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, draft, and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Standardize contract templates and internal policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement equity and corporate structure frameworks aligned with strategic goals.
• Lead complex commercial transactions, including M&A, investments, financing activities, and strategic partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide legal support on corporate matters and execute special projects assigned by J&T Group Headquarters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field; Juris Doctor or equivalent preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in the Philippines.
• Proven expertise in local, national, and international legal standards and procedures.
• Experience in legal document preparation, contract management, and corporate compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
