Legal Counsel – Philippines Operations

About the role

POP MART is seeking a Legal Counsel to lead all legal matters for its Philippine operations. The role will support business roll‑out, licensing, import/export compliance and contract management across the company’s fast‑growing retail and e‑commerce activities.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize commercial agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, leases and construction contracts.
• Maintain the contract approval matrix and ensure systematic archiving of all legal documents for the Philippine entity.
• Apply for all required licenses and permits, and manage import/export compliance, product labeling and advertising regulations.
• Provide dedicated legal support for strategic projects, from inception through completion.
• Conduct legal research, identify risks and advise on regulatory requirements affecting both offline and online operations.

• Strong independent project‑management abilities.
• Robust legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, group headquarters and governmental authorities.
