Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to lead corporate governance, compliance and commercial legal support for our Philippine operations. The role serves as the primary legal bridge between the local entity and the Group headquarters, ensuring smooth regulatory navigation and effective contract management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee entity incorporation, daily governance, Board and Shareholder meeting procedures, and corporate secretary duties.
• Establish and maintain the local legal compliance framework covering labor law, foreign investment, data privacy and related regulations.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, providing full legal support to business units.
• Act as the main liaison to Group HQ, monitor regulatory changes, and manage external law firms for cost‑effective execution.

Required profile

• Philippine Bar admission with 2–4 years post‑qualification experience in corporate law and commercial transactions (flexible).
• Hands‑on experience with Board/Shareholder workflows, corporate secretary responsibilities, regulatory filings and notarization procedures.
• Professional fluency in English; basic Mandarin is a strong plus.
• Strong cross‑cultural communication, commercial acumen and self‑drive in a fast‑paced environment.
