Legal Counsel – Corporate & Regulatory Compliance

About the role

Globe is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support across its operations in the Philippines. The role will ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations while protecting the company’s commercial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Head of Legal in daily duties and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure legal compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements aligned with business objectives.
• Provide practical advice on contract terms, risks, and regulatory matters.
• Monitor legal developments and implement necessary compliance updates.
• Develop and maintain legal guidelines, policies, internal trainings, and standard form agreements.
• Conduct trainings and orientations on legal matters and business processes.
• Prepare correspondence with government agencies, demand letters, and other regulatory filings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or Juris Doctor) and membership in good standing of the Philippine Bar.
• Minimum 5 years of legal practice in a law firm and at least 1 year as an in‑house lawyer.
• Experience at senior associate level or equivalent, with strong background in corporate/commercial law and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of real estate, construction, IT, telecommunications, data security and privacy laws relevant to the business.
