Legal Assistant

About the role

The Legal Assistant will support the legal and compliance teams by preparing and managing legal documents, ensuring regulatory adherence, and providing administrative assistance. This role is ideal for candidates with a legal background who are detail‑oriented and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and organizing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with PIGO regulations, licensing requirements, and government policies.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies and help submit required reports and documentation.
• Maintain and update legal records, permits, and compliance trackers.
• Conduct basic legal research on relevant laws, rules, and regulations.
• Support the Legal Team during audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
• Monitor deadlines for renewals, filings, and regulatory submissions.
• Assist in drafting correspondence and legal communications.
• Provide administrative support to lawyers and legal officers as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Law, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a legal, compliance, or regulatory role; experience in gaming, fintech, or other regulated industries is a plus.
• Familiarity with Philippine laws, regulatory compliance, and PIGO operations is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
