Lead Medical Manager

About the role

As the Lead Medical Manager for Novo Nordisk in the Philippines, you will serve as the scientific voice of the company, linking cutting‑edge research with clinical practice. You will work closely with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to ensure that life‑changing therapies reach patients while upholding the highest standards of medical excellence and ethics.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain deep scientific expertise in therapy areas and communicate evidence‑based medical information to healthcare professionals in line with global and local strategies.
• Lead scientific activities and stakeholder engagements that align with medical‑marketing strategies and comply with ethical standards and local regulations.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, ensuring Novo Nordisk’s profile remains prominent in the medical community.
• Act as medical reviewer and certifier of promotional materials in Veeva PromoMats, guaranteeing scientific and regulatory compliance.
• Drive data generation, publication planning, and literature surveillance to uncover new insights on product safety and efficacy.
• Support new product launches by providing medical guidance and training to internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including sales, marketing, and market access—to design educational programmes and shape brand strategies.

Required profile

• Licensed physician with at least 2 years post‑licensure clinical experience, preferably in diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease or related endocrine disorders.
• Post‑graduate medical qualification (desirable).
• Strong scientific acumen with the ability to translate complex medical evidence into clear narratives for diverse audiences.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
• Experience working in a matrix organisation and collaborating across functions.
