About the role
New San Jose Builders, Inc. is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Lawyer to join its Legal Department in Quezon City. The successful candidate will provide legal advice, draft and review contracts, conduct legal research, and represent the company in various legal matters.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Head of the Legal Department with assigned matters and conduct legal and factual research.
- Provide legal advice and assistance to all company departments.
- Supervise and support legal assistants in their tasks.
- Process, draft, review, and negotiate contracts, legal opinions, and related documents.
- Collaborate with external parties when necessary for contract negotiations.
- Assist the corporate secretary in drafting and reviewing corporate documents and maintaining corporate records.
- Handle active litigation cases (civil, criminal, labour, administrative) including research, drafting pleadings, and representing the company in hearings and mediations.
- Support special projects assigned by the Head of the Legal Department.
