Land Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Land Legal Counsel to join our legal team and provide expert advice on all land‑related matters. The successful candidate will support multiple departments by drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with Philippine laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate land contracts such as Contracts to Sell, Deeds of Absolute Sale, Extrajudicial Settlements of Estate and Easement Agreements.
• Conduct due‑diligence reviews to verify that all land‑related documents are complete and legally sound.
• Assist internal teams in resolving legal issues, offering recommendations based on current jurisprudence.
• Explain rights and obligations of contractual parties to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with government agencies to secure permits, clearances and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Research and interpret relevant statutes, ordinances and case law to advise on actionable steps.

Required profile

• Graduate of a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) program.
• Passed the Philippine Bar Examination and holds a valid attorney’s license.
• Fresh bar passers are welcome; prior experience in contract drafting and real‑estate law is preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to complex situations.
