L1 Desktop Support Engineer – Onsite (Davao)

About the role

We are seeking an L1 Desktop Support Engineer to provide full‑time onsite IT support for our Davao office. The role covers end‑user assistance, office infrastructure maintenance, asset management and project‑based deployments. You will work closely with remote support teams and third‑party vendors to ensure a reliable technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals across Windows, macOS and Linux platforms.
• Provision, deploy, replace and decommission IT equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity and user issues, escalating to Level 2 when needed.
• Maintain office IT services including network connectivity, printing, voice, AV and workplace technologies.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, access points and related networking equipment.
• Support smart‑office solutions, digital signage and conference‑room technology.
• Conduct asset audits, manage warranty repairs, device redeployment, disposal and stock control.
• Assist with office moves, hardware refreshes, equipment relocations and infrastructure projects.
• Provide remote‑hands assistance and escort third‑party vendors on site.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices and printers.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, routers, access points).
• Experience with hardware asset management and inventory control.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with remote teams and vendors.
