Key Accounts Specialist (Modern Trade)

About the role

The Key Accounts Specialist will manage Modern Trade accounts, negotiate trade terms and drive sales growth. The role focuses on achieving profitability targets while building strong relationships with key customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor pricing, promotions, shelf share and display to ensure optimal brand presence.
• Develop and coordinate promotional activities with the Marketing Group.
• Maintain and update the portfolio of retail and wholesale accounts.
• Track key‑account performance and ensure contract compliance.
• Support the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation.
• Identify new business opportunities and ensure timely collection from accounts.
• Coordinate trade talks and negotiations with business partners.

Required profile

• College graduate in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Business Management or related field.
• 2‑3 years experience in Key Account Management within modern trade (food or non‑food).
• Strong knowledge of trade‑marketing tools and category‑based selling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical mindset and high organization.
• Self‑motivated, customer‑focused and able to build collaborative relationships.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with trade‑marketing tools and software.
