Junior Data Analyst - Governance Data (Fresh Graduates Welcome)

About the role

ISS STOXX is hiring a Junior Data Analyst for its Manila Governance Data team. The role is non-IT and non-technical, and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. It is based in the Solaris One Building, Ayala Makati, on a day-shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Search for, collect and verify data of basic and intermediate complexity for companies in the assigned market, using current collection methods and acceptable sources.
• Answer internal and client queries so that captured data follows methodology and policy guidelines.
• Follow established work-process standards to ensure data quality and meet turnaround goals.
• Escalate data interpretation issues and perform root-cause analysis when data problems arise.
• Update internal documents for performance metrics monitoring.
• Take part in working committees, projects and tasks beyond core duties, and maintain paper and electronic files in line with ISS and client retention policies.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Legal Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Social Sciences, Communication or an equivalent related course.
• Excellent English, spoken and written, with good reading comprehension.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise under tight deadlines.
• Fast learner and willing to work beyond normal hours when the business requires it.
• Experience in data collection and analysis, corporate governance and business research is an advantage.
