Junior Associate Lawyer

About the role

The Junior Associate Lawyer will join RP De Vera Law Office in Makati on a full‑time basis, supporting senior lawyers across a variety of corporate and commercial matters. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on training, direct mentorship from the Managing Partner, and exposure to diverse legal practice areas.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, opinions, contracts, pleadings, and corporate documents.
• Assist in preparing regulatory filings, due‑diligence reports, and documents for hearings, transactions, and client meetings.
• Coordinate directly with clients and government agencies to gather information and ensure compliance.
• Support negotiations, client conferences, and the drafting of settlement agreements.
• Maintain accurate case files, manage deadlines, and track multiple matters simultaneously.

Required profile

• Law degree (LLB/JD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Bar admission in the Philippines or eligibility to sit for the bar exam.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and teamwork.
• Interest in corporate, commercial, and business law with any prior internship or law‑firm experience considered an advantage.
