About the role

Sutherland is hiring a Japanese Bilingual Customer Service Associate for its Music Streaming Services account with Shaw. The associate manages subscriptions, assists with account registration and handles cancellation requests so customers enjoy a seamless music experience. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide bilingual customer support in English and Japanese across live and non-live channels
  • Handle email, chat and calls using the provided tools
  • Resolve customer issues and build rapport with consumers
  • Capture all required information accurately in the respective tools
  • Report what happens during emails, chats and calls to the supervisor or lead
  • Complete all assigned tasks within the specified time and meet daily targets for the Key Result Areas
  • Follow company rules and regulations and the non-disclosure agreement

Required profile

  • At least 2 years of college completed, or high school graduate with relevant work experience
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Japanese
  • Good customer service and problem-solving skills
