IT Support Tier 1 Technician (Night Shift)

About the role

GPC Philippines Corporation is looking for a dedicated IT Support Tier 1 Technician to provide first‑line technical assistance to a global user base. The role operates on a night shift (12:00 am – 9:00 am PHT) and will transition to more regular hours over time.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support via phone, email, and ticketing system for macOS and Windows devices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues.
• Prioritize and manage incoming support tickets to meet service level targets.
• Participate in a follow‑the‑sun model to ensure continuous global coverage.
• Collaborate with the IT team to streamline processes and reduce backlogs.
• Create and maintain knowledge‑base articles and user guides.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in IT support or help‑desk environments.
• Proficiency with macOS, Windows, ticketing platforms, and remote support tools.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, MDM, Apple Business Manager, Okta, SSO, and IAM workflows.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and a customer‑centric mindset.
