IT Support Specialist – Day‑to‑Day Operations

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented IT Support professional to maintain and support daily IT operations. You will be the first point of contact for incidents, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help ensure the reliability and security of our systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support via walk‑in, chat, email, phone, or remote channels.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and OS problems to minimise downtime.
• Set up, image, deploy, and maintain computers and peripherals.
• Support onboarding/off‑boarding, account provisioning, and asset recovery.
• Administer user and group access in Microsoft Entra ID.
• Manage Microsoft Intune device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance checks, and remediation.
• Assist with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, ESET Business, and basic security monitoring.
• Perform SIEM monitoring, review alerts, investigate anomalies, and coordinate escalations.
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless APs, VLANs, SSIDs, captive portals).
• Inspect networking equipment, CCTV, and biometric door‑access systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and basic remediation for endpoints and network gear.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and document all support activities in ticketing systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, ISPs, and contractors as needed.
• Participate in shift‑based coverage from 4:00 AM to 2:00 AM.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of relevant IT support experience.
• Organised, solutions‑driven, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑shift environment.
• Strong communication, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities.
