IT Support OJT Trainee

About the role

TaskUs is looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Student Trainee to join its On-the-Job Training (OJT) program. The role bridges classroom theory and real-world practice, giving hands-on experience in hardware lifecycle management, asset compliance and onsite infrastructure support under the direct supervision of experienced IT professionals. It is an academic requirement for students.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the end-to-end hardware technology refresh, including physical preparation, imaging and deployment of machines for team members.
• Support the IT Asset Management team in physical audits of hardware, accurate inventory records and organization of production and storage areas.
• Help with Work-From-Home initiatives by testing equipment, securely boxing it and coordinating distribution for remote staff.
• Collaborate on office facility projects such as cable management and the safe transport of IT assets across sites.
• Test and maintain executive boardroom audiovisual and teleconferencing equipment so it stays functional and ready.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• An active endorsement letter from the university or college OJT coordinator.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn professional IT operations and workplace etiquette.

Program logistics

• Onsite work (mandatory).
• Shifting/rotating schedule.
• All tasks performed under the direct guidance of assigned IT staff; interns participate to fulfill academic requirements.
