IT Site Support Technician

About the role

The IT Site Support Technician ensures maximum uptime of PCs, phones, agent software, and site infrastructure at a busy call‑center. You will act as the on‑site extension of corporate IT, handling voice and data issues, hardware deployments, and software rollouts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day IT support for desktops, phones, and network equipment at the assigned site.
• Prioritize and resolve tickets submitted through the TRAKIT ticketing system.
• Collaborate with corporate network, PBX, Windows administration, database, and application teams to troubleshoot site‑specific problems.
• Assist with site‑level implementations of new PC hardware, application rollouts, and client‑specific desktop activities.
• Maintain and support VOIP technology and ensure reliable voice and data connectivity.

Required profile

• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Experience working in a large, fast‑paced call‑center environment.
• Highly proactive with a strong sense of urgency for site‑level issues.
• Team player with a positive attitude and tenacity to complete tasks.

Required skills

• Strong PC troubleshooting and break‑fix abilities.
• Proficiency with Windows 7, system registry, and Windows administration.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and software deployment.
• Experience with VOIP technology and Ethernet networking.
• Ability to install, configure, and support PC hardware and commercial/custom software suites.
• Familiarity with the TRAKIT ticketing system.
