IT Project Manager – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The IT Project Manager will lead and deliver complex infrastructure initiatives across the organization, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. This position blends deep technical knowledge of IT infrastructure with proven project management expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end infrastructure projects (network, servers, cloud, data centers) aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and vendors, providing regular status, risk, and issue updates.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Manage project budgets, allocate resources, and oversee vendor contracts.
• Validate technical designs with engineers/architects, ensure thorough testing, documentation, and smooth handover to operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 + years of experience managing large‑scale IT infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects involving networking, servers, storage, and cloud platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and data‑center technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira or similar).
