Investment Analyst – Remote (Philippines)

About the role

Teoh Capital is seeking a remote Investment Analyst to support its growing portfolio across the Asia‑Pacific region. The role is fully remote and open to qualified candidates anywhere in the Philippines. You will work closely with senior investment professionals in Australia and South‑East Asia, contributing to the identification and evaluation of high‑quality investment opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of potential investments, reviewing statements, cash flows and valuation metrics.
• Perform due‑diligence research, analysing market trends and risk factors relevant to regional markets.
• Prepare detailed investment reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Assist in portfolio management, monitoring performance and recommending adjustments.
• Stay informed on Philippine macro‑economic developments and regional market dynamics, producing regular market intelligence reports.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies aligned with the firm’s investment philosophy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline from a recognised university.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant financial role post‑graduation.
• Previous experience with a Big 4 accounting firm or in investment banking, equity research, or asset management is highly regarded.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Strong financial modelling capabilities.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg, FactSet, Excel and Power BI (or equivalent analytical tools).
