Inventory Analyst – Raw Material Shipment

About the role

The Inventory Analyst – Raw Material Shipment is responsible for coordinating and executing global raw material shipment requirements across multiple manufacturing sites. The role ensures timely fulfillment of material requests while balancing inventory availability, allocation priorities, and operational constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage shipment plans for raw material transfer requests.
• Review and validate shipment requests against inventory availability.
• Prioritize shipments based on customer demand, production needs, and business impact.
• Coordinate material allocations during supply shortages and constrained situations.
• Ensure timely processing of shipment requests and purchase order requirements.
• Monitor shipment status, proactively resolve issues, and mitigate delivery delays.
• Collaborate with planning, manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure on‑time material movement and supply continuity.
• Manage material shortages and shipment risks, coordinating recovery plans, ETA updates, and mitigation actions with stakeholders.
• Resolve shipment disruptions related to quality concerns, inventory discrepancies, allocation changes, and logistics constraints.
• Provide clear and timely shipment status updates to stakeholders while driving issue resolution and service continuity.
• Drive process improvements by reducing manual planning activities, enhancing shipment visibility, and improving reporting accuracy.
• Maintain and document standard operating procedures to support shipment processes.

Required profile

• Reports to the Inventory Manager.
