Inventory Accountant (CPA) – Manufacturing Finance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Accountant (CPA) to manage inventory accounting functions within a manufacturing environment. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting timely financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and group policies.
• Support timely and accurate financial reporting and collaborate with GBS and FP&A to meet group requirements.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and legal/regulatory compliance.
• Perform inventory analysis, reconciliations, monthly journal entries, and prepare reports on inventory movements, sales, and cost analysis.
• Set up product costs and transfer pricing in Oracle, manage standard cost updates and annual revaluation.
• Prepare inventory, gross margin, and working capital reports and submit required corporate and regulatory reports.
• Support inventory budgeting and forecasting with analysis and insights.
• Review and validate inventory provision calculations and prepare recommendations for management.
• Plan and execute the annual physical inventory count, reconcile results, and support audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• At least 3 years of experience in cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
• Knowledge of PEZA and Customs regulations in a manufacturing setup.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a detail‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Oracle or SAP accounting systems.
