Internship and Placement Officer

About the role

CIIT is looking for an Internship and Placement Officer to drive its student‑centered, industry‑linked learning model. The role will coordinate internship and job placement activities for college and senior high school students, ensuring smooth matching with partner companies and compliance with program requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate endorsement, matching, deployment and monitoring of students to approved internship partners.
• Manage internship documentation, evaluations, compliance checks and follow‑ups with students and supervisors.
• Track graduate employment outcomes, placement rates and internship‑to‑hire conversions, maintaining audit‑ready records.
• Prepare quarterly dashboards, performance reports and the Annual Graduate Employability Report.
• Support recruitment events, job fairs and job posting approvals in collaboration with Industry Partnerships and Career Development teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in internship coordination, career services, recruitment, HR or related administrative role.
• Proven ability to manage multiple placements, documentation and stakeholder relationships.
• Strong communication, organizational and deadline‑driven skills.
• Experience in higher education or graduate employability programs is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
• Database management and tracking system experience.
• Report creation using dashboards or similar reporting tools.
