International Freight Transport Manager

Del Monte Philippines, Inc. is seeking an International Freight Transport Manager to oversee all aspects of export shipping. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective freight operations while maintaining accurate documentation and strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage freight operations to achieve on‑time, cost‑efficient export shipments.
• Negotiate and secure competitive ocean freight rates with shipping lines.
• Monitor market trends, manage risks, and prevent shipping delays.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to meet shipping requirements.
• Prepare and align shipping line nominations and bookings.
• Maintain accurate freight data, performance reports, and dashboards.
• Oversee payment settlements, billing, and Bill of Lading release.
• Monitor vendor performance and drive continuous logistics improvements.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience negotiating ocean freight rates with shipping lines.
• Strong ability to analyse freight costs and market dynamics.
• Background in supply chain, logistics, or transportation (import/export).
• Proficient written and spoken English.
