Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor provides independent and objective assurance and consulting services to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes across the PLDT Finance Group. This role focuses on financial reporting, financial controls, accounting, treasury, and tax functions, ensuring compliance with internal control standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute audit plans for audit projects.
• Evaluate and report on the adequacy of internal controls.
• Develop audit programs and internal control questionnaires.
• Organize audit working papers and gather evidence to support observations and conclusions.
• Prepare audit reports with observations and recommendations.
• Conduct opening and exit meetings with internal audit clients.
• Discuss findings, recommendations, action plans, commitments, and timetables with internal clients.
• Perform follow‑up reviews to verify resolution of audit observations and recommendations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• College graduate in Accounting, Internal Auditing, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 4 years of audit experience.
• CPA certification is a plus.
