Internal Auditor – Hybrid (Cebu, Philippines)

About the role

Cloudstaff is seeking a proactive Internal Auditor to join our hybrid team in Cebu. You will work on diverse risk advisory engagements across multiple industries, collaborating with senior consultants and managers to deliver high‑quality audit and compliance services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audit, consulting, and compliance engagements for a broad range of clients.
• Perform technical and operational reviews, identifying risks and recommending practical solutions.
• Maintain and complete electronic working papers and engagement files for senior review.
• Summarise key findings, draft engagement reports, and present recommendations to senior staff.
• Identify ethical or conflict issues and refer them to management.
• Develop a detailed understanding of client systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Utilise fundamental electronic audit tools and ensure timely task completion.
• Maintain personal documentation such as training records, timesheets, and expenses.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary degree or professional qualification.
• Strong communication, report writing, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Understanding of governance processes, risk management (ISO 31000), and compliance reviews.
• Awareness of business risks affecting clients.
