Internal Audit Associate

About the role

The Internal Audit Associate will support the planning, execution, and delivery of assurance engagements, helping clients deepen their understanding of risk, control environments, and regulatory requirements. This role offers exposure to a variety of audit activities, from financial statement analysis to evaluating internal controls and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution, and delivery of assurance engagements.
• Document audit procedures accurately according to engagement objectives and client history.
• Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships from financial statement analysis and communicate findings.
• Implement planned audit procedures for significant sections of audits.
• Observe inventory counts and assess internal control systems.
• Evaluate clients' tax status and compliance with SEC requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, providing updates and supporting senior staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Internal Auditing.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) preferred.
• Preferably some experience in internal auditing; fresh graduates are also welcome.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrates integrity, solid work ethic, and adherence to professional values.
