Actuarial Services Generalist – Associate

About the role

Join PwC’s Actuarial Services team as a Generalist Associate, providing insurance and financial consulting to insurers, banks, regulators and third‑party administrators. You will work on a variety of projects that address solvency, economic capital, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, financial modelling and regulatory change.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the impact of new regulations on insurance balance sheets and reserve adequacy.
• Support financial modelling, underwriting analysis and efficiency improvements in claims or reporting processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver risk‑management and capital‑allocation advice.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and provide constructive, in‑the‑moment feedback.
• Handle, manipulate and analyse data responsibly while adhering to risk‑management and compliance procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of actuarial best practices and regulatory developments.

Required profile

• Associate‑level professional with a problem‑solving mindset.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and build internal and external networks.
