Intermediate Australian Accountant (Hybrid)

About the role

TOA Global is seeking an Intermediate Australian Accountant to join its hybrid team in Clark, Pampanga. You will work directly with an Australian public‑practice client, handling end‑to‑end corporate accounting, payroll, and compliance tasks while following Australian standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process client transactions from journal entry to trial balance and prepare full financial statements for ATO lodgment.
• Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts, cash‑flow reports, and performance analyses.
• Reconcile GST accounts, prepare and submit Business Activity Statements (BAS).
• Auto‑match bank feeds, manually reconcile complex accounts, and set up automated coding rules.
• Run payroll cycles using Xero Payroll, manage leave provisions and ensure compliance.
• Support year‑end external audits and grant reporting, including superannuation and income projections.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial data.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience in an Australian public‑practice accounting firm.
• Active Xero certification.
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, GST, and BAS requirements.
