Intermediate Accountant

About the role

TOA Global is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to support an Australian public‑practice client. Working from our modern Tarlac facility, you will handle end‑to‑end corporate accounting, compliance, and payroll functions while receiving specialised training aligned with Australian standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process client transactions, prepare trial balances and full financial statements ready for ATO lodgment.
• Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts, cash‑flow reports and performance analyses.
• Reconcile GST accounts, prepare Business Activity Statements and manage BAS calculations.
• Auto‑match bank feeds, reconcile complex accounts and maintain general ledgers with precise coding rules.
• Run payroll cycles using Xero Payroll, ensure compliance, calculate leave provisions and issue payments.
• Support year‑end external audits, grant reporting and develop superannuation and income projections.
• Uphold strict confidentiality of all financial data and client information.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in an Australian public‑practice accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, work‑paper discipline and compliance cycles.
• Ability to manage multiple client portfolios and meet tight reporting deadlines.
