Inpatient Nurse (RN)

About the role

The Inpatient Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care to children recovering from orthopedic and reconstructive surgeries at CURE’s facility in Davao City. Working closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, the nurse ensures both physical recovery and emotional well‑being of patients and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons and allied health professionals to coordinate treatment plans.
• Provide physical, psychological and spiritual support to patients, families and friends.
• Document all care activities accurately in patient and department records.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection‑control policies.
• Administer medications in accordance with the rights of medication.
• Monitor and maintain nursing equipment and supplies, requesting repairs or replenishment as needed.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient records and uphold professional standards.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification, eligible to practice in the Philippines.
• Compassionate attitude with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and families.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced hospital setting.
• Commitment to uphold ethical standards, confidentiality and infection‑control protocols.
