Information Security Officer

About the role

The Information Security Officer will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s information security framework. You will ensure that security policies, procedures, and technical controls protect the company’s assets and data against evolving threats.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, monitor, and maintain information security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Implement, operate, and maintain technical security controls such as firewalls, anti‑malware solutions, IPS, and other security tools.
• Monitor security incidents, investigate breaches, and coordinate incident‑response activities.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage annual external security assessments.
• Document security breaches, assess impact, and recommend corrective actions.
• Produce comprehensive security reports and analyze logs and security data.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest threats, standards, and best practices by attending conferences and seminars.

Required profile

• College graduate in Electronics & Communications Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of information security management systems, governance, risk management, business continuity, and incident handling.
