Informatica Architect / Developer – Senior Consultant & Manager

About the role

The Informatica Architect / Developer role sits within the Modern Data Platform (MDP) domain and is responsible for delivering enterprise‑grade data transformation solutions. You will design, build and evolve governed, scalable data platforms that enable organisations to move from fragmented data environments to modern, insight‑ready ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver modern data platform solutions using Informatica products across integration, ingestion, quality, governance, lineage and master/reference data.
• Translate business and reporting requirements into scalable data designs, reusable integration patterns and implementation roadmaps.
• Define solution architecture, data flows, mappings, transformation logic, controls and non‑functional requirements for enterprise data programs.
• Lead or contribute to data platform modernisation initiatives, including migration from legacy warehouses to cloud‑based governed platforms.
• Implement and optimise Informatica services for ETL/ELT, data quality, metadata management, cataloguing, lineage and governance workflows.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts, testers, PMO and client stakeholders to ensure traceability, delivery quality and operational readiness.
• Embed security, privacy, access controls and auditability into data solutions in line with governance and compliance expectations.
• Support estimation, planning, testing, deployment, hyper‑care and continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in Informatica technologies and disciplined delivery execution.
• Strong ability to engage credibly with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience designing source‑to‑target mappings, transformation logic and data flows for large‑scale data programs.
• Deep understanding of modern data platform concepts, cloud‑native architecture, data lakes/lakehouse patterns, batch and real‑time ingestion, and data warehousing.
• Senior‑level experience (consultant/manager) in data platform projects.
