Industrial Engineer – Production Planner

About the role

The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for planning and preparing production schedules to ensure efficient, timely manufacturing that meets shipment requirements and forecasted demand. This role also oversees material and inventory management and collaborates with production and engineering teams to optimize processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules, identify planning errors, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage raw material and finished‑goods inventory, ensuring optimal mix and minimizing work‑in‑process.
• Allocate work‑in‑process across product lines to meet commitments and sales forecasts.
• Coordinate with production and engineering to prioritize process identification and monitor key metrics such as cycle time, bottlenecks, downtime, material input, output, and yield.
• Drive resolutions for process issues in collaboration with responsible departments.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning.
• Proven ability to monitor material and cost inventories.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interface across organizational levels.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is a plus.
