Inclusion Lead – Education Quality for Inclusive Prosperity (EQUIP)

About the role

The Inclusion Lead will drive gender‑responsive and inclusive strategies for the Education Quality for Inclusive Prosperity (EQUIP) programme, an Australian‑funded initiative supporting senior secondary education reform in the Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement inclusion and gender‑mainstreaming plans aligned with the EQUIP objectives.
• Coordinate with the Philippine Department of Education and other government partners to ensure programme alignment with the DepEd 5‑Point Reform Agenda.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of inclusion activities on senior secondary learners and report findings to stakeholders.
• Facilitate capacity‑building workshops for teachers and school administrators on inclusive practices.
• Support the transition of graduates to the labour market by linking skills development with employer needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inclusion, gender mainstreaming or related programme management.
• Strong understanding of the Philippine senior secondary education system and labour market dynamics.
• Excellent stakeholder‑engagement and communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with government agencies, NGOs and private sector partners.
