Impex Officer – Import & Export Operations

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Impex Officer to lead and coordinate all import and export activities, ensuring compliance with Philippine customs regulations and internal standards. The role works closely with internal teams and external partners to guarantee smooth cross‑border shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute import and export operations in line with Philippine customs laws and company policies.
• Monitor daily shipment activities, addressing any compliance issues or delays.
• Manage relationships with 4PL partners, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other service providers.
• Act as the primary liaison with government agencies for customs clearance and related matters.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Corporate Affairs, and other units to optimise trade lanes.
• Develop, maintain and improve SOPs for customs compliance and governance.
• Ensure processes align with ISO standards and internal compliance frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in import/export operations, customs compliance or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine customs regulations and trade compliance.
• Experience managing brokers, freight forwarders and logistics vendors.
• Excellent coordination, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Highly detail‑oriented with strong organisational and documentation skills.
