Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager drives growth for DSV’s Contract Logistics business by acquiring new customers, cross‑selling services and expanding market presence. The role works closely with Solutions Design, Operations, Pricing and regional teams to deliver profitable, sustainable logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and secure new customers for warehousing, distribution and value‑added services.
• Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline to meet revenue and margin targets.
• Prepare proposals and commercial offers in partnership with cross‑functional teams.
• Coordinate with regional and global BD counterparts to align local strategies with global objectives.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities for transport, brokerage and supply‑chain services.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships through regular business reviews and proactive engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development within logistics or related sectors.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to build credibility with clients.
• Collaborative mindset to work with internal stakeholders across functions.

Required skills

• Experience with sales pipeline management and CRM tools.
• Ability to prepare commercial proposals and respond to RFQs/RFPs.
