Human Resources Officer

About the role

The Human Resources Officer will lead daily HR operations for Cafe Agapita’s café in Silang. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and compliance are handled efficiently in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and selection processes, including job description preparation.
• Onboard new team members and maintain accurate employee records.
• Implement, monitor and update HR policies to ensure legal compliance.
• Handle time‑keeping, attendance issues and coordinate payroll‑related data.
• Address employee‑relations matters, provide coaching and support conflict resolution.
• Assist performance‑evaluation cycles and support training and development initiatives.
• Promote a safe, respectful and compliant workplace culture.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Human Resources or HR Management, preferably with generalist/officer experience.
• Ability to develop, implement and maintain HR policies aligned with labor laws.
• Experience in employee‑relations, conflict resolution and coaching.
• Proficiency in job‑description development and workforce planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
• Knowledge of Philippine labor laws, basic payroll principles and workplace safety requirements.
• Excellent communication, documentation, organizational skills and a high level of confidentiality.
