About the role
We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to support a fast‑growing investment firm that focuses on technology‑driven healthcare, software, and real‑estate tech. This remote, independent position will be the primary HR contact for employees and will help scale the organization while maintaining compliance and strong culture.
Key responsibilities
- Manage full‑cycle recruitment: post openings, screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, schedule interviews, and coordinate offers.
- Own onboarding: collect paperwork, tax forms, IDs, and ensure new hires have tools and system access on Day 1.
- Track employee hours, PTO, and attendance; work with the payroll provider to process accurate payroll.
- Administer benefits enrollment, eligibility tracking, and respond to employee inquiries.
- Maintain the Employee Handbook, HR policies, and ensure alignment with labor laws.
- Monitor professional licenses, certifications, and mandatory training renewals.
- Support disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and conduct exit interviews.
- Serve as first point of contact for HR questions, manage performance reviews, merit increases, and bonuses.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or high‑level administration.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience using modern HRIS/payroll platforms such as ADP or Rippling.
