HR Generalist (Remote, Australian Security Provider)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support an Australian security solutions provider. The role is fully remote, reporting to Australian business hours, and focuses on end‑to‑end HR administration, compliance, and employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day HR administration across the employee lifecycle.
• Coordinate onboarding, inductions, and maintain accurate employee records.
• Monitor compliance with licences, certifications, and mandatory qualifications.
• Respond to employee enquiries on policies, leave, timesheets, and workplace matters.
• Support employee relations and escalate issues when necessary.
• Track compliance deadlines and follow up on outstanding requirements.
• Maintain HR data in the HRIS (IntelliHR, transitioning to Employment Hero).
• Coordinate uniforms, recognition initiatives, and other HR admin tasks.
• Assist in maintaining company policies, procedures, and internal documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure a positive employee experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Australian HR practices and employment legislation.
• Proven experience managing onboarding and HR administration.
• Experience supporting employee relations and handling day‑to‑day workplace issues.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
