HR Assistant – Payroll & Benefits Administration

About the role

The Human Resources Assistant will support the design, implementation, and administration of the company’s compensation and benefits programs. This position ensures accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with Philippine labor regulations while contributing to a competitive and equitable rewards structure.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end timekeeping, ensuring 100% accuracy of attendance logs, overtime forms, and leave applications.
• Monitor leave applications and attendance for managers, officers, and consultants.
• Issue certificates of contribution and update employee status changes in the HRIS/SAP system.
• Process mandated benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag‑IBIG, including loan applications.
• Register and manage Tax Identification Numbers (TIN) for new hires.
• Act as primary liaison for the company’s Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), handling dependent records and medical authorizations.
• Conduct New Employee Orientation sessions focused on statutory and company benefits.
• Benchmark compensation and benefits against industry competitors.
• Perform compensation analysis to maintain equitable salary structures and pay scales.
• Lead cost‑benefit analyses for benefit enhancements or policy changes.
• Manage formal Job Evaluation procedures to determine internal job relationships.
