Heavy Equipment & Boat Engine Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment and Boat Engine Maintenance Technician to join our team on Pamalican Island, Amanpulo. You will be responsible for keeping heavy machinery and speed‑boat engines in safe, reliable, and efficient condition to support resort, construction, and marine activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on heavy equipment, speed boats, and boat engines according to schedule.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine‑related problems.
• Inspect and service diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, steering, cooling, and fuel systems.
• Conduct routine safety checks on boats, watercraft, and heavy equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Coordinate with supervisors on equipment status, repair needs, and spare‑parts inventory.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repair requests.
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.

Required profile

• Technical or vocational diploma in Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience maintaining heavy equipment and/or marine engines.
• Strong knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and marine propulsion.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors in marine environments and respond to emergencies.
