Head of Finance and Accounting

About the role

The Head of Finance and Accounting will lead all financial and accounting functions for Novateur Coffee Concepts Inc., a fast‑growing coffee retail subsidiary in the Philippines. Based in Makati, this full‑time, on‑site position reports to senior leadership and supports strategic business objectives through robust financial management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial and accounting operations, including preparation, review and analysis of financial statements and reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow planning to align with corporate goals.
• Lead the finance team, ensuring compliance with Philippine tax laws, regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Establish and maintain financial policies, procedures and accounting standards.
• Monitor financial performance, provide analytical insights to senior leadership and support strategic decision‑making.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and collaborate with other functions to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in finance with proven experience leading finance and accounting functions in a corporate environment.
• Ability to prepare, interpret and manage financial statements in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning to support strategic goals.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CFA or equivalent preferred, and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax laws, regulatory requirements and best practices in internal controls.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience in retail, FMCG or consumer‑products industries is an advantage.
