About the role

The school is seeking a qualified Indonesian language teacher to join its teaching team in Surabaya. The successful candidate will deliver curriculum-aligned lessons, foster a supportive learning environment, and uphold the school's Christian values.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct Bahasa Indonesia classes for various grade levels.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare teaching materials and resources in line with the national curriculum.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent‑teacher conferences, and school events.
• Maintain classroom discipline and promote a positive learning atmosphere.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Indonesian Language Education, Indonesian Literature, or a related field (S1).
• Minimum GPA of 3.00.
• Christian (Catholic or Protestant) background aligning with the school’s vision and mission.
• Willingness to work at any Gloria School location in Surabaya.

Required skills

• Strong command of Bahasa Indonesia (both written and spoken).
• Effective classroom management and instructional techniques.
• Ability to develop engaging lesson plans.
