Geographic Information System (GIS) Specialist – ESRI Consultant

About the role

The ESRI Consultant designs, implements, and supports enterprise‑grade geospatial solutions on the ArcGIS platform. You will enable location intelligence, spatial analytics, and map‑driven insights that empower business decision‑making across operations, planning, and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver GIS solutions using ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Pro.
• Develop and configure web maps, dashboards, and custom geospatial applications.
• Implement spatial analysis, geodata management, and data visualisation use cases.
• Integrate ESRI platforms with enterprise systems via REST APIs and web services.
• Provide deployment, configuration, testing, and post‑go‑live support.
• Standardise spatial data models, governance, and publishing workflows.
• Create reusable GIS patterns, templates, and reference implementations to accelerate delivery.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of professional GIS experience, including 4–7 years hands‑on with ESRI ArcGIS platforms.
• Experience delivering enterprise‑scale GIS implementations, preferably in a consulting or system‑integrator environment.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and consulting mindset.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable GIS designs.
• Relevant ESRI technical certification (preferred) and cloud/data platform certifications (desirable).
