General Ledger Accountant

About the role

The General Ledger Accountant will deliver timely, high‑quality financial services to internal Dover customers in Cebu. You will manage ledger transactions, support period‑close activities, and ensure accurate reporting of financial results.

Key responsibilities

• Process journal entries, allocations, and period‑end adjustments.
• Perform balance‑sheet account reconciliations and sub‑ledger variance analysis.
• Post and reconcile intercompany transactions.
• Execute fixed‑asset accounting, including additions, retirements, depreciation, and revaluations.
• Support cash‑management functions and related reconciliations.
• Provide audit support for internal and external audits.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives for general‑ledger processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Management Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Experience with US GAAP and IFRS, fixed‑asset, cash management, and intercompany accounting.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Professional ethics and customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Oracle ERP (preferred) or other major ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts; macros a plus).
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• Six‑Sigma methodology (preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint and web‑based tools.
