Full Stack Developer (Shopify/Hydrogen)

About the role

We are a US‑based e‑commerce retailer seeking a pragmatic Full Stack Developer to bridge the gap between our custom headless architecture and business needs. You will work remotely, building and maintaining Shopify Hydrogen storefronts while integrating them with our Django monolith, Algolia search, and Storyblok CMS.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify Hydrogen storefronts using React Router, implementing complex commerce features.
• Create responsive UI components with HTML, CSS, and modern React, ensuring optimal performance.
• Migrate legacy frontends (Shopify Liquid and Django‑based) to Hydrogen with data integrity.
• Extend and maintain Python/Django code that powers GraphQL API integrations between Shopify and internal ERP/PIM/CRM systems.
• Build custom middleware and integrations for features not supported natively by Shopify.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, configure environments, and automate releases to Oxygen or similar edge platforms.
• Translate ambiguous business requests into technical solutions and know when to involve senior architecture discussion.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience building custom e‑commerce storefronts with Shopify Hydrogen, React, and React Router.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical constraints to non‑technical stakeholders.
