Full Stack Developer (C#/ASP.NET, MAUI, Blazor)

About the role

As a Software Development Engineer you will design and build full‑stack solutions for high‑visibility consumer and patient web and mobile applications. The role focuses on using the latest Microsoft .NET technologies while ensuring maintainability, performance, and adherence to product development standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications using C#, ASP.NET, MAUI, Blazor, Razor, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Maintain existing applications and APIs on current and legacy platforms.
• Prepare software design requirements and detailed specifications following Abbott’s development process.
• Conduct testing, validation, and full documentation of design evaluations.
• Optimize applications, pages, and transactions to improve load time and user experience.
• Implement performance monitoring tools and evaluate system efficiency end‑to‑end.
• Collaborate with other engineers to promote scalable, maintainable, and high‑performance system designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (STEM) or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and effective communication skills.
