French Procurement Buyer – SAP & Procurement Specialist

About the role

Vestas is seeking a French‑speaking Procurement Buyer to join its Procurement Operations Management Office. You will handle indirect buying activities, create purchase orders in SAP, and ensure compliance with Vestas’ buying policies while supporting internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Create non‑catalogue purchase orders using SAP and other Vestas systems.
• Ensure POs are issued in line with procurement policy and SLA requirements.
• Modify, cancel or close POs as needed and support the Accounts Payable team with invoice issues.
• Provide high‑quality service to vendors, facilities, headquarters and SSC teammates.
• Reject transactions that lack proper documentation or approvals.
• Test system enhancements to prevent production disruptions.
• Generate reports on open orders, supplier confirmations and delivery dates.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to resolve operational issues quickly.
• Offer backup support to team members when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3‑5 years of experience in buying, procurement or supply‑chain functions.
• Strong knowledge of SAP production and procurement modules (SAP PE1 required).
• Good understanding of SAP procurement master data (PIR, vendor master, quota arrangements, source lists) is a plus.
• Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to work shifts and occasional overtime.
